王昕

王昕，香港城市大学教授，理学院院长。1994年本科毕业于浙江大学，1997年硕士在浙江大学毕业。2002年博士毕业于香港科技大学。之后在新加坡和美国多家知名大学开展博士后研究工作。曾任新加坡南洋理工大学化学与生物医药工程学院院长。新加坡工程院院士、英国皇家化学会会士(FRSC)、Carbon Energy副主编。主要研究方向为纳米材料、电化学、质子交换膜燃料电池、电催化、碳减排等。
Prof. Xin WANG received his B.Eng. (1994) and MPhil (1997) degrees in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Zhejiang University, and Ph. D (2002) in Chemical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. From 2003 to 2005, he worked as a research fellow at University of California, Riverside, and concurrently, as R&D director for a start-up fuel cell company. He joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) as an assistant professor in 2005 and was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2010 and full professor in 2016. He had served various roles during his tenure with NTU, including Co-Chair of the interdisciplinary School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Chair of the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, and Associate Dean (Research) at College of Engineering. He was appointed as the Cheng Tsang Man Chair Professor in Energy in 2022. He moved to City University of Hong Kong as Chair Professor of Electrochemistry and Head of CHEM on 20 Mar 2023.
