杨广东,博士毕业于浙江大学,现为加拿大劳伦森大学副教授。先后在加拿大University of Saskatchewan、Lakehead University、Laurentian University从事博士后研究、担任助理研究员、心血管和代谢中心主管、人体运动学兼职教授、生物分子科学PhD项目核心成员、教授等职务。先后两次获得加拿大“New Investigator Award”奖项。担任“Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity”客座编辑主管、以及Journal of Geriatric Cardiology, Cardiovascular Regenerative Medicine, Immunoendocrinology, Diabetes Research and Metabolism, Journal of Obesity and Diabetes, Frontier in Cardiovascular Medicine, Clinics in Oncology编委。先后在Science、PNAS、Science Signal、EMBO report、Antioxid. Redox Signal、Redox Signal等国际知名学术期刊发表学术论文近100篇,期中发表在科学杂志的文章“H2S as a physiologic vasorelaxant: hypertension in mice with deletion of cystathionine gamma-lyase.”迄今他引达1121次。
