黄美兰

黄美兰博士2003年毕业于浙江大学化学系。2003-2005年英国牛津大学理论与物理化学研究所Wellcome Trust研究员。2006到2007年加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学医学院博士后研究员，于2007年3月任英国贝尔法斯特女王大学副教授，博士生导师。
从事生物酶催化剂设计、理性药物设计、及新材料设计的研究工作，目前已在国际知名期刊包括ACS catalysis, PhysChemChemPhys，J Phys Chem，Biochemistry发表论文40余篇，并多次受邀在大型国际会议上做口头报告。现主持“女王大学与Almac制药公司 计算生物学和分子生物学的生物工程平台”项目。其团队对工业催化剂进行理性改造，在拓展天然生物催化剂的底物范畴及立体选择性方面做出了开拓性的贡献，其研究成果已发表在催化及物化领域顶级期刊，同时，这些成果已经成功地指导几个全球制药公司用于原料药的生物合成，实现了技术的及时转化。

Meilan Huang

Dr Meilan Huang joined Queen’s University Belfast in 2007 as a lecturer. She worked with Prof Fengling Qing's in the Key Laboratory of Organoflorine Chemistry at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998-1999. After awarded a PhD degree in Computational Chemistry at Zhejiang University in Feb 2003, she was a postdoc working with Prof Arvi Rauk in the Department of Chemistry at University of Calgary Canada. She was a Welcome Trust research fellow in the Laboratory of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at University of Oxford working with Prof W. Graham Richards, FRS in 2004-2006 and a research fellow working with Prof Artem Cherkasov in Department of Medicine, University of British Columbia, Canada in 2006-2007. She is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and a Fellow of Royal Society of Biology (FRSB).
Her main research area is developing and applying Computational methods for biocatalysis. She studies the interactions and catalytic mechanism of various enzymes to direct the rational design of novel biocatalysts for chemical transformations. She published over 60 full research articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. She is the corresponding author of many publications in top chemistry journals including ACS Catalysis, (2022, 12: 4037), Chem Comm (2020, 56: 9356 & 2019, 55: 2198), J Am Chem Soc (2019, 141: 19, 7934), Nature Communications (2019, 10: 3198), ACS Catalysis (2016, 6: 11, 7749).
