Xudong Zheng is currently a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins. He received his PhD in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2016.
His research is in algebraic geometry, and his research interests include singularities on algebraic varieties, Hilbert schemes of points, and algebraic surfaces in positive characteristic.
He helps to organize the Johns Hopkins Algebraic Geometry Seminar.
