Shengbin Wang
Associate Professor of Management

Dr. Shengbin Wang is an Associate Professor of Management in the School of Business at The College of New Jersey. He received his PhD in Management with a major in Supply Chain Management from Rutgers University, and his BS in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University in China. Prior to joining The College of New Jersey, Dr. Wang taught at North Carolina A&T State University, Rutgers University, and University of Wisconsin. Dr. Wang’s primary research interests lie in supply chain operations modeling and algorithm design, humanitarian operations management, big data analytics in supply chain management, large scale lateral transshipment, and last mile delivery network design. He has many publications in peer reviewed journal, conference proceedings, and book chapters. Dr. Wang’s teaching interests include operations management, supply chain management, supply chain design and analysis, business statistics, and enterprise resource planning (SAP ERP). His teaching philosophy is to create a student-centered learning environment. He loves to engage students in and out of classrooms, and always shows his passion in teaching and learning processes. Dr. Wang is also a recipient of several research awards from NC A&T State University and Rutgers University.
