王争

2001年，王争就以600分（文科）的优异成绩从北仑中学考入浙江大学，更成了中国第一个重度残疾经济学博士。2008年，王争赴英国诺丁汉大学留学深造，2012年9月学成回到宁波，成为宁波诺丁汉大学经济学助理教授。如今，他在英国德蒙福特大学（De Montfort University）执教，教授的是国际贸易课程。

Personal profile
Zheng joined De Montfort University in 2016 as Reader in Economics. Previously, he worked as Lecturer in Economics in the University of Hull and the University of Nottingham. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham, and both PhD and BA degrees in economics from Zhejiang University (China). Currently he still maintains external fellowship at the GEP research centre in Nottingham. He is also a senior member of the ESRC Peer Review College and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In his spare time, Zheng is enthusiastic about exploring all aspects of different cultures. In particular, he enjoys and practices the traditional art of Chinese calligraphy with mouth -- as a result of an arms amputation surgery after an accident when young -- which won him some national awards in China.
