Feng Liu is a principal research scientist at Adobe Research, working remotely in Oregon. His research areas include Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Machine Learning. His research studies how people interact with visual media and accordingly develops technologies to support high-quality visual content production. His recent projects include video effects, 3D vision / graphics, novel view synthesis, neural rendering, neural modeling, AR/VR and generative models.
Feng obtained his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. He is concurrently a faculty member at Portland State University and runs Computer Graphics and Vision Lab there. He was a visiting researcher at Meta Reality Labs and Google Research previously.
